Like a husband who is being exiled to the doghouse for the umpteenth because he has chosen to remain with an unreasonable wife and face the consequences of her temper tantrums and petulant personality, Facebook, a platform that holds an infatuation for us at The Murphy Report, has locked the door and refused us entry onto its site for 30 days.

It's not the first time. In all honesty, it's closer to the tenth time.
"We were cited for the poem ODE TO A PIG," said Scott Steinbeck, The Murphy Report's managing editor. "Written by Estanislao Contreras last night after an evening of drinking, eating and laughing, Facebook reacted at once to our posting. In the past FB hasn't been so prompt in its responses, so banishment for this posting caught us by surprise.
"FB's decision is ironic. Our critics complain that we bash them if they don't share our opinion, which is ludicrous. We are a forum of passionate discussion and we never deny our detractors the opportunity of taking their best shot. We dare them to up their game and don't resort to crybaby whimpering as a defense because we are going to counter with our best shots.

"We are in the ring trading punches. We don't tie their hands behind their backs. They can swing as hard as they want, but we're talking about the championship of the world and we're going to do everything within our miniscule power to dethrone Trump who doesn't represent our America.

"Trump is white trash. Trump es mierda. Trump is pure evil, but like Hitler and his Nazis, Trump wants us to continue down a path that has led to death and could result in our nation's ultimate destruction.

"Express your opinion, but don't start crying like your president because we express our views with equal vehemence. Trump has broken all the rules. That's the reason we don't think twice about hitting below the belt. Write some shit that's worth reading. Spew some crap that makes your critics think twice.

"Unlike Trump with Twitter, we aren't denying you the opportunity to drag us through the mud. But never forget that politics thrives in the mire and never forget that Trump is a pig.
"There is no middle ground in the Times of Trump. We are in the midst of a civil war between the smart people and the stupid people whose outcome will be determined November 3rd after a series of battles and skirmishes. FB, a cowardly organization that is less respectful of First Amendment Rights than Trump and his racists, white-trash renegades, reactionaries, Religious-Right bigots and rich Republicans, has chosen to scamper into the high grass like a yellow-bellied snake.

"We will not retreat from the statement that Trump is a pig. How can anyone respect or take seriously an imbecile who claims there are good people among the KKK and the Neo-Nazis? We must march forward in our peaceful revolution to reclaim our country. Trump has not made our nation great again. He has done just the opposite. We will fight to end his dictatorship that has led to the death of thousands of our people."
