As a former coach and a sports fanatic since the earliest of my memories, it has always been about the numbers: What inning? How much time? What was the final score?

I'm not following sports numbers except when it comes to Mick and his varsity football games. Who won? comes first and what were his stats? comes second.

But that doesn't mean I'm suffering because I no longer have numbers in my life. Actually, the complete opposite is true: I'm sweating the numbers.

There are five days until the election. We Democrats need 270 electoral votes. We would like to get 350. Anything close Trump will contest and he has a 6-3 advantage in the Supreme Court.

The nine judges made George W. Bush president over Al Gore on a 5-4 vote. Who says that every vote doesn't count!

From Coronavirus there are 230,000 deaths and nine million confirmed cases in the nation. Numbers are infinite and I could go on and on, especially if I delved into the Brownsville and Cameron County elections, but regardless of all results, there is only one result: Biden vs. Trump

All my candidates could win locally, but if Biden loses, I've lost. I could lose all the races locally, but if Biden wins, I've won.

Ni mas! Ni menos!
