We can say at The Murphy Report that we're not surprised by Buford "Backwoods" Barnes' comment: "When did they let women into A&M? Next thing you know they will be invited to play sports." 

He never tires of displaying his true Trump colors as one of the head honchos of the Harlingen Heathens. We remember back in the day when gringos were God and Barnes' Motor's issued the dictate that none of its workers were to speak Spanish during working hours. 

Nobody has ever accused Barnes of cultural sensitivities. When Barnes ran for city commissioner, la raza sent him a "chinga tu madre" message by rejecting his white ass and electing a Mexican-American in his stead. 

We also remember the reenactment of the gabachos' civil war when the Barnes' boys went at it in a Matamoros establishment. We don't know if this was the reason his twin left Brownsville after the blood had dried and the bruises had healed, but those who witnessed the sanguine scene thought they were being treated to a cockfight before the mariachis arrived. 

Nobody has worked harder to undermine Texas Southmost College than Barnes and his fellow snakes. He supported Julieta Garcia when as president of Brownsville's junior college she endeavored to destroy TSC for the benefit of the UT System. Even Judas had to tip his hat to the Wicked Witch of the South. 

If that betrayal of our junior college wasn't enough, Barnes spearheaded the effort to recruit Harlingen's TSTC for a work study program to the Port of Brownville instead of TSC. 

Nothing that comes from his mouth astonishes us. Besides being an ignoble Harlingen Heathen, he is a renown Brownsville Bully. What will he be asking next: "When did they let African-Americans into A&M?" When Texas Assholes & Morons wanted to win football games, pendejo!!! Pinche cagapalo!!!

My patio faces east. In the early afternoon the sun has embarked on its ancient descent toward the west and I relax on my lawn chair in the shade. I breathe deeply. My lungs are clear. Coronavirus has me contemplating life from a variety of angles. I am led to believe that those who suffer death from the disease suffocate. That doesn't sound like a pleasant exit to me. As a result of this grim reality, I have quit smoking dope. I don't want to weaken my lungs any more than 55 years of puffing on joints has wreaked on them. I have been retired for three years from the BISD after the superintendent threatened to fire me if I kept writing. I chose to keep writing. It is my spiritual calling.
