"You loot and we shoot!" says Trump.

The Republicans want to make the Democrats the scapegoat for this unrest. Their law-and-order ruse is the latest ludicrous trick to fool the electorate into voting for the King of Chaos. But doesn't the buck stop at the top? Not with Trump. His history is nothing but pointing his finger at others.

He says the America that exists under his administration will be Joe Biden's America. Hardly. Biden will find common ground. We didn't have this widespread turmoil during the eights years of Obama/Biden.

We didn't have 185,000 dead Americans with thousands more condemned to die as a result of Trump's ineptness. It is only a matter of time before Trump starts blaming Biden for Coronavirus except when he is praising himself for all the American lives he has allegedly saved.

These are sick times. And much sicker than we can possibly imagine.

My patio faces east. In the early afternoon the sun has embarked on its ancient descent toward the west and I relax on my lawn chair in the shade. I breathe deeply. My lungs are clear. Coronavirus has me contemplating life from a variety of angles. I am led to believe that those who suffer death from the disease suffocate. That doesn't sound like a pleasant exit to me. As a result of this grim reality, I have quit smoking dope. I don't want to weaken my lungs any more than 55 years of puffing on joints has wreaked on them. I have been retired for three years from the BISD after the superintendent threatened to fire me if I kept writing. I chose to keep writing. It is my spiritual calling.
